This was the week of my presentation.
I had the outline done and I had to select images to use for this and my paper.
That was pretty easy, as I pulled most of them from my survey. The only other images I used were found with
a google image search and a filter on the results that made it only return
pictures that were free to use. I also finished up my paper at this time,
placing the images where appropriate. I even had to format some of the information
into columns so the images would fit better. This resulted in me also having to
slim down some of my content on those pages in order to line everything up
right.
My presentation went well. I had a
rough day which made me late, but I was still ready when I got up there to
deliver it.
I created my publication, using
elements from my created paper. I had to cut a lot of info out of this, which
was a big challenge. I focused more of my definition of malware and prevention
tips than on my survey. The only point in referencing my survey for my
publication was to provoke interest in malware prevention. I also cut out a lot
of the types of malware I described, limiting to a few of the more commonly
destructive varieties. I also had to elaborate less on my prevention tips,
hoping that I could make the message clear with one sentence each.
