Progress report Week 1

   This is a fairly hard progress report to make, because it didn't feel like I did a lot. But I don't give myself as much credit as I should. I have developed a simple research strategy and formulated what my research question is. My research project will look into different virus detection technologies, such as behavioral and signature based detection, and compare them to identify when is the most appropriate use for each. I will start with Wikipedia, to get a general idea of each and find additional resources through their citations. I will also use the library's resources and look online for scholarly journals related to the advancement of virus detection technology. After I had gathered enough notes I will organize them into an outline that will serve as the framework of my rough draft. I will then take my rough draft for peer review and create a few more iterations until an acceptable final draft is done.
